Saker Supports OSCAR Animal Rescue Annual 5K

A worthy cause

Each year the O.S.C.A.R. 5K race is held to raise funds for a very deserving animal rescue, One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR). The rescue organization, located in Sparta, NJ, works tirelessly to find permanent, loving homes for animals that have ended up homeless through no fault of their own. They facilitate adoptions through many channels, provide access to low-cost spay and neuter programs, and advocate for the animals in their community.

In 2019, Saker Aviation proudly sponsored the O.S.C.A.R. 5K race held in Augusta, NJ. We’re so pleased to be a part of this event and to play just a small part of the health and happiness of the animals assisted by this animal rescue organization. It warms our hearts to see so many people turn out in support of a worthy cause. We’d like to personally thank all of the organizers, other sponsors, and, of course, the participants who made the event possible. We’re already looking forward to next year!
